Eligibility Criterion Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) (MBA)
The key eligibility criteria for applying to the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) at IIM Bangalore are as follows:
- Graduate Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent (CGPA). For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, the minimum requirement is 45% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidate from Commerce who have completed their CA, ICWA, or CS after Class XII are also eligible to apply. The minimum percentage marks/CGPA requirement remains the same as mentioned above.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years (and preferably less than 12 years) of work experience as of March 31, 2024, after completing their graduation.
- Submission of GMAT or GRE Scores:Official Score Report: Provide the official score report from GMAT or GRE. Test Taker Copy: If the official score report has not yet been received, you may submit the test taker copy in the interim.
- Online GMAT/GRE scores (exams taken at home) are not accepted for EPGP 2024
- Applicants must use the IIMB EPGP codes (Q9H-KK-84 for GMAT and 1675 for GRE) to have their scores sent directly to IIM Bangalore. The official score report from Pearson/GMAC (for GMAT) or ETS (for GRE) will be used for verification
- Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) highlighting their future goals and achievements
- Applicants must provide two references (online), preferably one from their current employer or an individual who can evaluate their job performance
